Happy Thanksgiving!

Once again, my partner and I find ourselves 5,000 miles away from home this Thanksgiving. So we’ve just done what we do every year, for the past 4 years. We’ve eaten dinner at a Chinese buffet.

And the Christmas knitting starts

I have a confession to make. I only just started my Christmas knitting. As in on Saturday.

Bonfire night

Last night was Bonfire night. You might know it by the name Guy Fawkes Night.
It’s always celebrated on the 5th of November (remember, remember, the 5th of November), and according to Wikipedia bonfires were there from the very beginning. Guy Fawkes was a member of a group of provincial English Catholics who in 1605 . . . → Read More: Bonfire night
